Touch HW EE Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute validation and characterization methodologies for touch solutions from proof-of-concept to mass production.
• Architect and design hardware and software infrastructure for innovative test solutions.
• Define metrics and figures-of-merit to guide touch design and performance tracking.
• Develop and prove analytical models to understand test system interactions with touch sensors.
• Perform failure mode analysis using advanced tools to drive root cause diagnosis.
• Manage vendors to implement validation tools, plans, and infrastructure.
• Translate complex test problems into executable plans and deliverables for multi-functional teams.

What we're looking for

• BS degree in a relevant field is required.
• MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience is required.
• Prior industry experience owning validation or test efforts on analog, mixed-signal, or sensor products is required.
• Fundamental knowledge of physics, analog circuit and signals analysis, circuit design, and statistics is required.
• Experience with touch technology (preferred).
• High proficiency in software and algorithm prototyping using scripting languages like Matlab or Python (preferred).
• Experience in HW prototyping, Design of Experiments (DoE), and Failure Analysis/Corrective Action (preferred).
