Tooling Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead tooling development from concept through production for Sentry products.
• Own design execution, validation, and issue resolution for tooling solutions.
• Develop detailed tooling documentation including CAD models and specifications.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to balance precision, ergonomics, and cost in designs.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp for scalable execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tooling feasibility and readiness.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in tooling or manufacturing engineering for complex products.
• Proven ability to design and validate precision assembly fixtures and gauges.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and metrology techniques.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX) for mechanical design.
• Experience with tooling validation methodologies including Gauge R&R.
• Familiarity with automation technologies and lean manufacturing practices.
