You will use various network monitoring tools and maintain trouble tickets while ensuring all issues are logged accurately for trend analysis. The role requires a minimum of three years of network operations experience, IAT Level II certification (Security Plus), and the ability to work rotating shifts. This position involves working closely with the Mission Control Center and providing quarterly metrics in PowerPoint presentations.

What you'll do

  • Conduct fault management to detect, isolate, and correct network anomalies.
  • Monitor all nodes for operational integrity continuously.
  • Respond to trouble calls and initiate trouble tickets as needed.
  • Populate and examine logs for troubleshooting and capturing metrics.
  • Provide technical support in data network planning and design.
  • Report all trouble calls to the Mission Control Center upon receipt.
  • Log all network issues using the approved system of record.

What we're looking for

  • US Citizenship required
  • Minimum three years of network operations experience
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II certification
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and network troubleshooting
  • Ability to conduct fault management and maintain trouble tickets
  • Shift work capability: 4 days on/3 days off (10-hour days)
  • TS/SCI clearance required
