What you'll do

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain multi-vendor network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and proxy servers.
  • Implement and optimize network security policies, BGP routing, and multi-site IPSec connectivity.
  • Monitor network health, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex technical faults.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform to streamline network operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topologies, IP allocations, and technical support guides.
  • Manage network equipment procurement and oversee subcontractors for hardware installations.
  • Provide regular on-call support and travel to remote sites for hardware upgrades and evaluations.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or equivalent role in a production environment.
  • Solid experience with vendor-agnostic network switching, routing, and wireless technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with network security technologies, including Palo Alto Networks, Panorama, ACLs, and traffic monitoring.
  • Proficient technical knowledge of OSPF, BGP, Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, VRFs, DNS, and QoS.
  • Experience using network monitoring and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow.
  • Familiarity with network automation tools and basic scripting in Python or Bash.
  • Familiarity with host-based networking configurations across Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.
