Technology Financial Operations Data Analytics & BI Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data pipelines, semantic models, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Convert manual spreadsheet-based reports into governed, reusable BI products with consistent definitions and reliable refreshes.
• Develop reporting for IT Total Cost of Ownership, Cloud FinOps spend, and headcount processes.
• Reconcile and model data from finance, cloud, procurement, and service management systems.
• Create reusable datasets and measures with built-in validation checks to surface data quality issues.
• Translate loosely defined stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and validated reporting results.
• Apply controlled release and access practices to ensure reporting remains secure and traceable in production.
• Provide ongoing support for delivered products, including issue triage, resolution, and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Modernize spreadsheet-based reporting by converting manual reports into governed, reusable BI products.
• Develop reporting for technology financial management, including IT Total Cost of Ownership, Cloud FinOps, and headcount processes.
• Prepare, reconcile, and model data from finance, cloud, procurement, portfolio, and service management systems.
• Build reusable datasets and semantic models with validation checks and exception reporting to ensure data quality.
• Capture requirements and validate results by working directly with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Power Query, DAX, SQL, and lakehouse or warehouse patterns (preferred).
