Senior Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms for enterprise applications.
• Manage Linux-based server environments and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using Ansible to automate operations.
• Build, troubleshoot, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
• Monitor system health and performance using observability tools like Dynatrace and log analysis via Elasticsearch.
• Manage security requirements including vulnerability remediation, identity management, and certificate lifecycle maintenance.
• Coordinate release activities, deployment planning, and rollback strategies for both non-production and production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish standard operating procedures for team automation and technology modernization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience.
• At least 5 years of industry-relevant experience in a technical role.
• Strong experience with Linux administration and scripting using Bash or Python.
• Experience managing Tomcat application servers and Apache web servers.
• Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Expertise in automation tools like Ansible for infrastructure and configuration as code.
• Experience with messaging systems (IBM MQ, Kafka), databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), and observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk).
