What you'll do

  • Resolve technical issues impacting IBM client business through analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Provide remote technical support for software, hardware, and problem management.
  • Perform Problem Determination and Problem Source Identification (PD/PSI) to resolve client issues.
  • Communicate action plans clearly to clients or internal IBM representatives.
  • Execute strategic projects involving Artificial Intelligence, TCP/IP Networking, and Cognitive Support Platforms.
  • Analyze system logs and perform low-level troubleshooting of hardware and software.
  • Manage dynamic workloads in an agile environment while maintaining high service standards.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Must possess Problem Determination and Problem Source Identification (PD/PSI) experience.
  • Must have experience with at least one programming language such as C, C++, Python, or Java.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, storage concepts, and Linux/Unix systems (preferred).
  • Experience with z/OS, mainframe environments, or LLM foundational models (preferred).
  • Experience with hardware/software log analysis, APIs, scripting, or tutoring (preferred).
