Intern Application Developer - Oracle - 2027 is a role within the Oracle practice at an IBM Consulting FutureNow Center. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, create documentation, and develop high-quality, scalable code for enterprise applications. You will build cloud-native and full-stack applications while contributing to projects involving finance, supply chain, procurement, human resources, and digital transformation. The role requires a foundation in computer science or software engineering and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++. You will work with technologies including databases, operating systems, cloud platforms, and modern UI frameworks. Key technical areas include Artificial Intelligence, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and API integration to solve complex business problems and support the modernization of enterprise software across various industries.
Develop scalable and reusable code while participating in peer code reviews.
Build cloud-native and full-stack applications using modern UI frameworks and databases.
Create technical documentation to support project communication and design discussions.
Support the development of enterprise solutions for finance, supply chain, and human resources.

What we're looking for
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
Basic understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, APIs, and problem-solving.
Exposure to software development, web development, cloud technologies, or technical problem-solving through coursework, projects, hackathons, or other practical learning.
Familiarity with Git, APIs, databases, Agile development, DevOps concepts, cloud platforms, user interface frameworks, or software engineering best practices (preferred).
Interest in Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, automation, enterprise application development, and consulting (preferred).
