Intern Application Developer - Oracle - 2027 is a role within the Oracle practice at an IBM Consulting FutureNow Center. You will work with experienced professionals to support real client projects, focusing on building scalable, reusable code and developing cloud-native, full-stack applications. Your daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, contributing to technical documentation, and participating in code reviews. You will utilize technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, databases, operating systems, and modern UI frameworks. The role involves solving business problems related to finance, supply chain, procurement, human resources, and digital transformation. You will gain exposure to software engineering, cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence, DevOps, and Agile methodologies while supporting enterprise application development and modernization initiatives.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
Contribute to technical documentation and design discussions to support project communication.
Develop scalable and reusable code while participating in regular code reviews.
Build cloud-native and full-stack applications using databases, operating systems, and UI frameworks.
Support enterprise applications for finance, supply chain, procurement, and human resources.
Implement software quality practices focusing on user experience, performance, and security.
Assist in digital transformation initiatives and application modernization for diverse clients.
What we're looking for
High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
Basic understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, and APIs.
Exposure to software development, web development, cloud technologies, or technical problem-solving through coursework, projects, or certifications.
Familiarity with Git, APIs, databases, Agile development, DevOps concepts, or user interface frameworks (preferred).
