Technical Staff Platform Architect

What you'll do

• Design AI software and hardware architectures based on customer requirements and datacenter scalability.
• Optimize software and hardware configurations to maximize performance and efficiency of datacenter components.
• Develop differentiated solution architectures to integrate with enterprise datacenter frameworks and applications.
• Consult with high-profile partners to drive innovation at the workload, platform, and datacenter levels.
• Generate intellectual property and invention disclosures while serving as an escalation point for critical development issues.
• Maintain multi-year roadmaps detailing feature trade-offs and host regular technology reviews to align with business objectives.
• Deliver comprehensive plans and documentation for implementing AI solutions to meet specific business needs.
• Lead technology investigations to analyze industry capabilities and recommend potential acquisitions or vendor partnerships.

What we're looking for

• Ability to drive model selection and advise on architectural trade-offs against customer outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of open-source and commercial AI workflow applications across compute, network, and storage.
• Experience with enterprise cluster deployments and AI workflows for training and inferencing use cases.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture including CPUs, accelerators, networking, storage, and benchmarking methodologies.
• Experience identifying and communicating differentiation opportunities and technical recommendations to marketing, procurement, and executives.
• Ability to deliver comprehensive plans and documentation for building and implementing AI solutions for business needs.
• Ability to travel 20%-30% to assess customer requirements and develop blueprints.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience (preferred).
