Technical Relationship Manager, News Operations

What you'll do

• Communicate technical updates from engineering teams directly to publisher development teams.
• Provide support, guidance, and training to publishers regarding the Apple News Format.
• Develop tools and workflows to improve internal processes and operational efficiency.
• Translate complex product developments into clear information for external audiences.
• Gather and synthesize feedback from publishers to inform product improvements.
• Create and deliver technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and review technical documentation regarding web publishing standards.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to create workflow efficiencies and reduce manual overhead.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency with modern productivity and AI tools, including experience leveraging AI and automation for workflow efficiency.
• 5+ years of experience in Partner or Project Management.
• Ability to meet with stakeholders and distill requests into meaningful workflows and changes.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation.
• Experience working and reporting cross-functionally.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Swift.
• Excellent debugging skills to recognize patterns and identify root causes (preferred).
• Proficiency in using a variety of productivity tools (preferred).
• Ability to summarize and communicate technical issues to stakeholders and leadership (preferred).
• Passion for digital publishing and experience with Content Management Systems (preferred).
