What you'll do

Translate customer requirements into internal project plans including scope, milestones, resource planning, and cost estimates.
Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full product development cycle from concept to prototyping and validation.
Manage technical communications and build long-term relationships with customers.
Develop initial product functional specifications and ensure final products meet all performance requirements.
Coordinate with external vendors to procure parts, hardware, and new capabilities.
Manage intellectual property generation and protection throughout the development cycle.
Facilitate technology transfer to product engineering and manufacturing teams for successful product launches.
Document and communicate project progress and technical results to leadership and customers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
7+ years of work experience.
2+ years of technical program or project management experience.
Excellent first principles knowledge in mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and electrical engineering.
Track record of delivering complex technical solutions to customers with high quality and on schedule.
Strong R&D project management, communication, problem-solving, and risk analysis skills.
Ability to develop thermal fluids systems and lead customer interactions.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Prior experience in electronics or a hardware industry (preferred).
