Technical Application Support Analyst

What you'll do

• Process and monitor electronic tax file submissions to the IRS.
• Review IRS acknowledgements, rejections, and accepted-with-error responses.
• Troubleshoot file validation, formatting, transmission, and processing issues.
• Analyze file processing results and identify necessary corrective actions.
• Document findings, resolutions, and all customer communications.
• Support customers during critical filing periods and tax reporting deadlines.
• Assist with testing activities related to IRS regulatory changes and system enhancements.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of the Springfield, MO or Monett, MO office locations.
• 3+ years of experience in technical support, application support, implementation, or backroom bank operations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working directly with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak tax reporting periods as business needs dictate.
• Experience with XML, CSV, or file-based data processing (preferred).
