Systems or Software Configuration Analyst

What you'll do

• Support configuration management activities across the GMD weapon-system portfolio for software and hardware.
• Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for identification, control, and reporting.
• Design and implement build procedures to support software product development and use.
• Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure documented operating parameters.
• Complete software configuration management and media integrity checks.
• Monitor configuration-data repositories to maintain data integrity, traceability, and security.
• Uphold configuration control and certify baseline revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Operate and plan within an Agile development environment.

What we're looking for

• Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance at the time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of relevant Configuration Management experience; or a Master’s Degree plus 3 years of relevant CM experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of relevant Configuration Management experience; or a Master’s Degree plus 6 years of relevant CM experience.
• Demonstrated experience with configuration management standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI, CMII) and baseline management.
• Experience analyzing proposed product design changes, reviewing contract documents, and using configuration and data management tools.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry and performing data integrity scans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to travel 10% of the time.
