Systems Engineering Intern will join the engineering team to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. The role involves performing operational analysis, developing concept of operations, and creating design and implementation plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing test plans, procedures, and cases while conducting tests and documenting results. The individual will analyze systems requirements from end users, utilize software tools and scripting for hardware and software troubleshooting, and deliver presentations to communicate design activity status to internal and external customers. Required skills include proficiency in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, or project management. Candidates may also use Rhapsody. The work focuses on solving complex technical challenges within the defense technology sector to provide mission-critical solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop test plans, procedures, and specific test cases.
Conduct system tests and document the resulting data.
Utilize software tools, scripting, and hardware/software troubleshooting techniques.

What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and model-based systems engineering (preferred).
Familiarity with Rhapsody (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a security clearance.
