Systems Engineer Entry Level

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain system models using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
• Elicit, manage, and validate equipment and interface requirements through multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Create system architecture concepts and evaluate competing technical alternatives.
• Write technical manuals, procedures, and reports for customer review.
• Develop and maintain cost and schedule estimates for projects.
• Support operational testing by developing procedures, executing tests, and evaluating results.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and support for ship construction and test activities.
• Maintain a prototypical hardware and software development lab for the life of the vessel.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 0 to 5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance through the Department of Defense.
• Experience developing or maintaining industrial I&C systems is preferred.
• Experience defining and meeting functional and detail requirements is preferred.
• Experience planning and executing team projects is preferred.
• US Navy submarine service is preferred.
• An active DoD SECRET clearance is preferred.
