What you'll do

Package, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using tools like Zarf and other orchestration frameworks.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment tasks.
Perform manual testing, debugging, and validation of software systems within production-like lab environments.
Author technical documentation, integration reports, and in-application metrics dashboards for stakeholders.
Identify and integrate AI tools to improve engineering workflows and testing efficiency.
Track defects and resolve system issues to ensure reliability and readiness for Navy missions.
Manage project tasks and reporting using Jira and Confluence according to professional standards.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Engineering, Science, or Math.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire.
Familiarity with Linux Server and/or Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server technologies (preferred).
Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible (preferred).
Experience designing, configuring, and securing virtual machines using VMware or Proxmox (preferred).
CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain (preferred).
Familiarity with Java, Vue.js, .NET MAUI, Go, or HTML (preferred).
