Systems Engineer IV

What you'll do

• Author functional specification design documentation and own the theory of operations for core technologies.
• Develop system and subsystem requirements for new plating control technology.
• Define system integration requirements and interfaces in collaboration with design teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects as a project owner with a high level of autonomy.
• Identify and resolve technical risks across hardware, controls, software, and manufacturing.
• Perform hands-on lab work to manage design tradeoffs and characterize subsystems.
• Develop test methodologies, validation plans, and verification methods for system components.
• Manage technical programs and communications between suppliers and internal engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• System-level understanding of electrical architecture, integration, and automation technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using tools such as DVM, Oscilloscope, network sniffers, and log analysis.
• Ability to navigate electrical schematics, plumbing, and interconnect diagrams.
• Familiarity with software test methodologies, Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical tools like SPC.
• Strong technical communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing internal/external stakeholders.
• Experience in project management, including managing suppliers and using structured problem-solving techniques like 5-Why or 8D.
• Preferred experience in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial equipment, or panel/display technology.
