Systems Engineer 4

What you'll do

• Define system and subsystem requirements for core plating control technology.
• Author functional specification design documentation and theory of operations.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects as a project owner with a high level of autonomy.
• Identify and resolve technical risks across hardware, controls, software, and manufacturing.
• Perform hands-on lab work and manage complex design tradeoffs.
• Develop test methodologies, validation plans, and verification methods.
• Design experiments to characterize subsystems using Statistical Analysis of Variation and SPC.
• Manage technical programs and deliverables between suppliers and internal engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
• System-level understanding of electrical architecture, integration, and automation technologies.
• Experience operating in cross-functional teams and communicating system needs to multidisciplinary specialists.
• Familiarity with software test methodologies, Design of Experiments, and statistical tools.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using DVM, Oscilloscope, network sniffers, and log analysis.
• Ability to navigate electrical schematics, plumbing, and interconnect diagrams.
• Experience with structured problem-solving, industrial equipment, or semiconductor experience (preferred).
