What you'll do

  • Design and evaluate enterprise and cloud architectures that align with business requirements and mission goals.
  • Lead the design, planning, and deployment of scalable and secure DNS architectures.
  • Manage cloud migration initiatives for applications and infrastructure to Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies and tools to improve system performance, security, and efficiency.
  • Integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud-based solutions across software, platform, and network domains.
  • Implement and optimize monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve performance and security issues.
  • Deliver technical presentations and analytical briefings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor less-experienced professionals and provide leadership for specific teams or tasks.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Must have 15+ years of related experience.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance or an active DOE Q Access Authorization.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must have deep expertise in DNS architecture and the ability to explain complex concepts to technical teams.
  • Must have hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Must possess cloud migration expertise, including knowledge of strategies like rehost, replatform, and refactor.
  • US Citizenship.
