What you'll do

  • Design and evaluate enterprise and cloud architectures that align with business and mission requirements.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives for applications and infrastructure to Azure and AWS environments.
  • Design, plan, and deploy scalable and secure DNS architectures.
  • Assess existing system architectures to recommend improvements for performance, security, and efficiency.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend updates to processes and standards.
  • Implement and optimize monitoring tools and alerts to proactively detect performance and security issues.
  • Provide technical presentations and analytical briefings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain service design procedures using established frameworks and methodologies.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Must have 15+ years of related experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance or active DOE Q Access Authorization.
  • Must have deep expertise in DNS architecture and the ability to explain complex concepts to technical teams.
  • Must have hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Must have cloud migration expertise, including experience leading migrations of workloads to Azure and/or AWS.
  • Must have experience with Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux workloads on-premises and in the cloud.
