What you'll do

Design and evaluate enterprise and cloud architectures for Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure.
Identify and design technical solutions based on business requirements while analyzing trade-offs and alternatives.
Design, plan, and deploy scalable and secure DNS architectures.
Lead cloud migration initiatives including the assessment and execution of application and infrastructure workloads.
Research and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and methods to modernize existing environments.
Implement and optimize monitoring tools and alerts to proactively detect performance and security issues.
Develop and maintain service design procedures using established frameworks and methodologies.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and analytical briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must currently possess or be able to obtain an active Top Secret clearance.
Must have a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have 5+ years of related experience.
Must have deep expertise in DNS architecture and experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Must have cloud migration expertise and experience with on-premises infrastructure including VDI, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware, and Microsoft 365.
Must have experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting in mixed Windows/Linux environments.
Must have experience with networking, routers, system administration, and systems design.
Must have familiarity with DNS-related and network services technologies such as Infoblox (preferred).
Must have experience working with the Department of Energy (DOE) (preferred).
Must have a current or previous Q Clearance (preferred).
Must have experience working with DISA STIGs and related compliance frameworks (preferred).
Must have relevant cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
