Symantec DLP Load Balancing Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle and delivery of Application Delivery infrastructure.
• Create technical designs based on industry best practices, engineering standards, and security principles.
• Implement and manage security controls to ensure they operate effectively within delivered solutions.
• Execute lifecycle management tasks including code upgrades, vulnerability patching, and EOL replacement programs.
• Develop detailed implementation plans and runbooks for downstream execution teams.
• Manage a variety of technology infrastructure and business-aligned projects.
• Perform design validation and troubleshoot advanced networking issues in complex environments.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• F5 LTM, GTM, APM, and ASM experience.
• AVI VMware experience.
• CCNP, F5 201, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in load balancers, DNS, SSL offloading, and PKI infrastructure.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting BGP, HTTPS, TCP IP, and SSL protocols.
• Experience managing large, globally dispersed teams of engineers and network engineering or technology management experience.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (preferred); ITIL Certification (preferred).
