Support System Lead, Maneuver Dominance

What you'll do

• Architect and lead the design of comprehensive support systems for deploy, supply, operate, and maintain functions.
• Hire, develop, and manage a hands-on engineering team focused on practical support system solutions.
• Conduct "Day In The Life Of" decomposition activities to influence the design of air vehicles and mission systems.
• Design, fabricate, and test transport and handling equipment for rapid deployment in challenging environments.
• Identify and integrate appropriate standards and interfaces for supply systems such as fueling into the design process.
• Develop maintenance systems, operational processes, and training approaches using emerging technologies.
• Drive a consistent "Common Support System" approach across the entire product ecosystem to improve customer experience.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an aviation-related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or product development/design environments including technology maturation.
• Familiarity with applying Systems Engineering principles and understanding their benefits and limitations.
• Experience performing logistics, maintenance, or training roles in operational environments for fielded systems.
• Ability to break complex problems into achievable challenges for team consumption.
• Trade or mechanic qualifications are considered advantageous.
• Defense industry or military service background is highly desirable.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance in the United States, United Kingdom, or Australia.
