Storage Engineer - TS/SCI w/Polygraph As a Storage Engineer, you will join the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to support the deployment of systems and capabilities centered on a motion imagery software suite. You will perform requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation for next-generation storage and backup systems in both on-premise and cloud environments. Your daily responsibilities include managing demonstration environments, performing root cause analysis, providing Tier 3/4 support, and conducting system security engineering with a SAN focus. To succeed, you must possess expertise in enterprise platforms like NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, and Nutanix, alongside hyper-converged solutions such as VxRail and Nutanix. You will utilize VMware, Windows, Red Hat, and cloud services from AWS, Azure, or Oracle to manage data center migrations and disaster recovery for the Intelligence Community.

What you'll do

Analyze requirements and design solutions for next-generation on-premise and off-premise storage and backup systems.
Evaluate emerging storage technologies in collaboration with technical leads, vendors, and cloud providers.
Develop and maintain a storage demonstration environment within a designated test lab.
Create and execute comprehensive test plans for various storage and backup solutions.
Perform root cause analysis for major issues and provide recommendations for system improvements.
Provide Tier 3/4 technical support for enterprise storage and backup platforms.
Conduct system security engineering with a specific focus on Storage and SAN infrastructure.
Install, monitor, and optimize storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and capacity.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must be a United States citizen.
10+ years of related systems engineering experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 14+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree.
Expertise in enterprise storage and backup platforms including NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, and NetBackup.
Experience with hyper-converged solutions such as VxRail and Nutanix.
Full lifecycle SAN administration experience including utilization analysis and capacity planning.
US Citizenship.
