What you'll do

  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies to improve processes and ensure accurate facility ratings.
  • Ensure all grid activities comply with NERC standards and internal safety policies.
  • Develop technical reports on complex subjects for management, regulatory bodies, and professional societies.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines using standard scheduling techniques like CPM and PERT.
  • Lead and coordinate the work activities of other engineers within the department.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • A non-ABET Bachelor's degree is acceptable if paired with a Master's or PhD from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's in Engineering Technology may qualify if they hold a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination is encouraged and preferred for future licensing.
  • Must be able to perform root cause analysis on system discrepancies and identify process improvements.
  • Must be proficient in scheduling techniques such as CPM, PERT, and flow charts for project planning.
  • Must possess collaborative and consensus-building skills to function effectively as a team leader and member.
  • Must be able to interpret codes and regulations to develop standards relevant to the area of assignment.
