Staff Technical Program Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

What you'll do

• Define program scope, milestones, and success criteria for SRE initiatives while managing dependencies in Jira.
• Lead change management and launch readiness programs to ensure stable production deployments.
• Operationalize SLOs and SLIs using incident data, metrics, and capacity signals to drive improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts between SRE, Security, Compliance, and Cloud platform teams.
• Manage multi-team incident responses and ensure clear follow-through across global engineering teams.
• Design scalable frameworks and communication patterns to enable the SRE team to operate independently.
• Interpret metrics, logs, and data sources to identify risks and inform technical decision-making.

What we're looking for

• At least 8 years of experience in technical program management, engineering management, or a comparable role with software engineering teams.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-team platform initiatives through ambiguity and change.
• Strong knowledge of production change management, the software development lifecycle, and reliability metrics like SLOs and SLIs.
• Ability to shape roadmaps and manage complex dependencies across multiple teams.
• Skill in querying and interpreting metrics, logs, or other data sources to inform decisions and communicate risk.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with engineers, cross-functional partners, and executives.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud networking, observability stacks, or large-scale cloud infrastructure is preferred.
• Prior experience working specifically with SRE teams or on modern cloud database platforms is preferred.
