Staff Technical Program Manager, Identity and Product Safety

What you'll do

• Manage multi-year roadmaps for identity protection, account security, and bot mitigation across multiple teams.
• Design and implement technical mechanisms to protect users from scams, fraud, and other platform abuses.
• Lead initiatives to improve age detection and ensure compliance with youth safety regulations.
• Provide technical leadership by clarifying risks and trade-offs for engineers and data scientists on complex safety problems.
• Establish program governance through health checks, risk management, and clear communication for executive stakeholders.
• Define and track metrics that connect engineering work to real outcomes like reduced account takeovers.
• Utilize generative AI tools to automate project management tasks and improve the quality of program artifacts.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role driving large, cross-functional engineering programs.
• Experience in trust & safety, security, identity, integrity, or related problem spaces like anti-abuse and fraud at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to ramp up on complex technical domains such as identity management, large-scale detection systems, and infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering multi-quarter programs with multiple teams, dependencies, and stakeholders across organizations.
• Strong command of program governance including charters, milestones, risk management, and metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to use generative AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work while ensuring accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to distill complex technical issues into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
