What you'll do

Enable UAS command and control capabilities through resilient network design.
Derive system, subsystem, and component level requirements for unmanned aerial systems.
Design and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex environments.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and scalability in distributed systems.
Integrate hardware and software components in coordination with engineering teams and product managers.
Define and document software engineering processes to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Develop test scripts using languages such as Python or Matlab for network validation.
Manage the full product lifecycle including design, production, and sustainment of flight vehicles.

What we're looking for

Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
12+ years of experience as a network engineer performing complex engineering tasks.
Expert level knowledge of multicast (IGMP & PIM) and unicast (OSPF & BGP) protocols.
Experience with end-to-end testing of unicast and multicast data flows, including Quality of Service and CBWFQ.
Advanced knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
Hands-on experience in networking design, testing, and operation of LOS and BLOS communication systems.
Proficiency in test script development using common languages like Python or Matlab.
Familiarity with End to End RF Integration with UAS and hands-on experience with tactical radios (preferred).
