What you'll do

Lead end-to-end solution development by defining requirements and system architecture.
Design, develop, and maintain system components to meet functional and performance requirements.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and scalability in distributed systems.
Integrate software and hardware components in close coordination with hardware engineers and product managers.
Define and document software engineering processes to ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
Drive complex electro-mechanical and aero-performance design trades using simulation and rapid prototyping.
Support engineering product development, production, and sustainment throughout the entire product lifecycle.

What we're looking for

12+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering.
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Comfort with systems modeling tools such as Cameo.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and operating in an Agile development environment.
Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using a common language like Python or MATLAB.
Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience of complex robotic systems (preferred).
Familiarity with IP-based networks (preferred).
Experience with mission systems, communications systems, and aviation airworthiness considerations (preferred).
