What you'll do

Define System Safety methodology and establish discipline philosophy across product lines.
Lead safety across multiple concurrent programs, setting strategy and resolving technical conflicts.
Drive multi-year enterprise initiatives to transform departmental capability in System Safety.
Architect tailored System Safety program plans aligned with MIL-STD-882E standards.
Provide expert technical direction on complex safety analyses including FHA, Fault Tree, SCFTA, FMECA.
Establish hazard management standards and risk mitigation frameworks used across programs.

What we're looking for

Minimum 12 years of industry experience as a System Safety Engineer or equivalent background
Deep expertise in safety-critical systems, preferably in defense or aerospace industries
Expert-level knowledge of MIL-STD-882E and other relevant safety standards
Proven track record establishing System Safety Engineering frameworks across multiple products
Extensive experience with safety analysis techniques including FTA, FHA, SCFTA, and FMECA
Strong requirements decomposition skills for Safety at the system-of-systems level
Extensive Design Review experience (PDR, CDR) and excellent presentation skills
