What you'll do

Develop and implement tailored System Safety program plans aligned with MIL-STD-882E.
Conduct complex safety analyses including FHA, Fault Tree, SCFTA, FMECA, and System Safety Assessments.
Identify and document hazards and risks for programs, managing hazard tracking databases.
Lead corrective action reviews to ensure timely implementation of lessons learned.
Support Development Milestone Reviews as a Subject Matter Expert on System Safety.

What we're looking for

Minimum 8 years of industry experience as a System Safety Engineer or equivalent background
Extensive knowledge of MIL-STD-882E and other relevant safety standards
Experience setting up System Safety Engineering frameworks for products or programs
Strong background in safety analysis techniques including FTA, FHA, SCFTA, and FMECA
Design Review experience (PDR, CDR) with confident presentation skills across leadership levels
B.S. degree required; M.S. preferred
Security clearance required
