What you'll do

  • Define and deliver flash-programming requirements and solutions for advanced mechatronic systems across vehicle programs.
  • Lead programming strategies for development, manufacturing, over-the-air (OTA), and service environments.
  • Develop and improve programming tools, diagnostics, scripts, and automated test suites.
  • Analyze programming issues to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain requirements, test coverage, traceability, and technical documentation for mechatronic systems.
  • Establish reusable standards and practices to improve programming quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and roadmap direction for future programming capabilities.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for flash programming quality and efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Development with a focus on embedded systems or automotive applications.
  • Experience in automotive flash programming, embedded systems, vehicle diagnostics, and software requirements.
  • Experience developing or reviewing software, scripts, engineering tools, or test automation.
  • Experience across the software or systems development lifecycle using agile methods.
  • Experience using Wireshark or similar tools to analyze PCAP and diagnostic traffic.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with automotive diagnostic protocols, vehicle networks, programming clients, and various programming environments (preferred).
