The Staff Software Embedded Test Engineer joins the OS Verification organization to shape the quality of next-generation In-Vehicle Infotainment platforms. This role leads OS verification efforts to ensure software features meet standards for functionality, security, performance, and architectural compliance. You will provide technical leadership across test planning, execution, and automation while working with component developers and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include reviewing business requirements, designing verification plans, creating automated and manual test cases, logging defects, and reporting metrics. You will utilize Python, C++, Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory to validate platform and embedded low-level system designs. The role requires expertise in software quality assurance methodologies, Scrum/Agile processes, and potentially vehicle communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and SomeIP to solve complex software integration and reliability problems.
