What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or 10 years of experience in software engineering is required.
Experience designing and shipping production code in large-scale distributed systems including RESTful API design and horizontal scaling.
Deep expertise in backend development with strong object-oriented design fundamentals (Java and Spring Boot preferred).
Hands-on experience building data/feature pipelines using streaming or batch techniques with tools like Spark, Kafka, Hive, GCP, and Cassandra.
Proven track record of technically leading teams, setting architectural direction, and mentoring other engineers.
Familiarity with machine learning ecosystems and the integration of ML models into production environments.
Strong communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards is preferred.
