What you'll do

Assess gaps between customer expectations and existing products to classify technical requirements.
Analyze application logs and performance metrics to troubleshoot bottlenecks and maintain high availability.
Convert High Level Designs into detailed designs using mock screens, pseudo codes, and functional logic.
Guide the team on coding patterns, languages, and frameworks to drive scalability and security.
Drive the implementation of telemetry features by determining data and metrics requirements within the domain.
Create scripts to automate repetitive tasks in CI/CD pipelines, testing, and other domain processes.
Translate customer requirements into comprehensive test strategies and execute test cases to detect defects.
Evaluate change requests and trade-offs to ensure solutions meet business and non-functional requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of software engineering experience, or a Master's degree and 2 years of experience.
Experience building highly scalable and distributed web applications using the Spring Boot framework.
Experience designing and developing Java-based REST web services in Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices platforms.
Experience with NoSQL databases including Cassandra and Azure Cosmos.
Experience with system performance tuning and analysis using JMeter.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
Experience with data monitoring and reporting dashboards using Splunk and Dynatrace.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, and Apache Kafka.
