This role requires 8+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system architecture, proficiency in Go and Python, and hands-on experience with agentic AI systems and evaluation frameworks.

What you'll do

Own the architecture and delivery of foundational platform capabilities for Control Center.
Drive the evolution of Control Center into an AI-agent-ready operations platform.
Lead technical direction by authoring TDDs, running design reviews, and mentoring engineers.
Build highly reliable distributed backend services with strong observability instrumentation.
Partner across engineering teams to deliver cross-functional outcomes and shared platform primitives.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
Deep proficiency in backend service design, API development (gRPC, MCP, GraphQL), and microservices architectures.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
Track record of building secure internal tools or platforms with strong security controls and compliance in a regulated environment.
Experience leading technical initiatives from concept to production across complex problem spaces.
Proficiency in Go and experience with agentic AI systems including MCP servers and LLM orchestration layers.
