Staff Software Engineer, UI Tooling

What you'll do

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and scaling of the Kyber prototyping and rapid deployment platform.
• Rebuild the Kyber platform onto next-generation cloud platforms.
• Set technical direction and make architectural decisions for systems enabling rapid deployment of internal applications.
• Write and review code hands-on to establish standards for quality, availability, and system health.
• Translate cross-organizational objectives into platform capabilities by partnering with Infrastructure, Product, Security, and Design teams.
• Enable non-technical builders to create rich product feature prototypes that translate to production applications.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance through design reviews and collaborative leadership.

What we're looking for

• 9+ years of industry experience delivering large-scale service-oriented systems.
• Broad full-stack engineering capability across backend, frontend, mobile, APIs, and system architecture.
• Proven experience building customer-facing products from zero to one.
• End-to-end product ownership experience iterating on launched products and improving business outcomes.
• Strong architectural design skills for high-scale distributed services, APIs, data pipelines, and algorithms.
• Sound technical judgment to balance delivery speed, experimentation, scalability, and engineering quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to drive initiatives across teams and leadership.
• Product-first engineering mindset to ensure technical decisions serve customer products.
