TL;DR · Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure Automation

Staff Software Engineer - Infrastructure Automation is a senior hands-on technical role focused on designing and building infrastructure-as-code capabilities to manage cloud and on-premises environments. You will develop, test, and maintain reusable Terraform modules, Ansible collections, and policy-as-code guardrails while ensuring secure, reliable infrastructure changes across the organization. The role involves creating automated validation using Terratest and tflint, managing HCP Terraform or Terraform Enterprise, and implementing configuration-as-code for network infrastructure. You will utilize Python, Go, and other general-purpose languages to build tooling and services that integrate with CI/CD and observability workflows. This position addresses the complex challenge of automating infrastructure in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with standards like PCI DSS and SOX while improving the developer experience through self-service tools and robust security controls for identity and credential management.
