What we're looking for
You must have 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
You must have an extensive track record of developing highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
You must have 5+ years of hands-on database expertise in relational and/or distributed SQL systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, TiDB, or Vitess.
You must possess deep knowledge of database fundamentals including schema design, query optimization, scaling, partitioning, sharding, and performance tuning.
You should have experience with database benchmarking, load testing, capacity planning, and connection poolers/proxies.
You must be able to deliver major features or system components by defining technical and execution plans while writing high-quality code.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
