You have 5+ years of hands-on database expertise in Relational and/or Distributed SQL such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, TiDB, or Vitess.
You possess a deep understanding of database fundamentals including schema design, query optimization, scaling, partitioning, sharding, and performance tuning.
You have experience building and operating databases in cloud environments, including benchmarking, load testing, and capacity planning.
You have experience delivering major features or system components through the definition of technical and execution plans.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration with a global engineering team.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
