What you'll do

Design, develop, and document software applications embedded in diagnostic and interventional cardiology devices.
Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, including concept development, requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
Develop requirements specifications and software algorithms for medical devices to meet specific performance goals.
Create and implement software test plans and protocols while generating reports to ensure quality system compliance.
Make and justify critical technical decisions in product design based on broad investigation and testing.
Document and transfer developed solutions to the manufacturing team for mass production and launch phase support.
Conduct code reviews and identify software functional requirements according to medical device development processes.

What we're looking for

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering (preferred).
10+ years of software engineering design experience.
2-3 years of experience providing technical leadership and mentorship.
Experience creating and managing requirements and translating them into effective architectures and software designs.
Experience in medical device development and understanding of medical device requirements.
Excellent documentation skills for highly regulated development environments.
Excellent Object-Oriented Design with modern C++.
Bachelor’s degree.
