Staff Software Developer

What you'll do

• Design, build, and enhance the FortiSASE platform for scalability and reliability.
• Integrate AI-driven features into the core product capabilities.
• Develop new solutions for network security configuration, telemetry analytics, and data persistence.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs for the platform.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies in AI and automation for product adoption.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues using modern observability and AI-assisted tools.
• Build scalable and maintainable systems using Python and Golang.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, and Docker Compose.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience in the network and/or cloud security domain.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and Golang to build scalable and maintainable systems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Deep knowledge of network telemetry pipelines using Kafka and time-series databases with AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with modern AI development tooling, including data pipelines, feature engineering, model deployment, and MLOps practices.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and APIs including AWS, GCP, and OpenStack; experience with cloud AI/ML services is a plus (preferred).
