What you'll do

  • Serve as the subject matter expert providing technical guidance on proxy and DLP systems to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Deploy and integrate security solutions from vendors like Microsoft, Palo Alto, and Netskope into network environments.
  • Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to ensure all security solutions meet regulatory requirements like PCI DSS and SOX.
  • Design, implement, and test security controls to align with corporate governance policies.
  • Monitor the health, performance, and reliability of proxy and DLP systems while resolving technical issues.
  • Advise the security operations team during investigations and responses to network security incidents.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in proxy and DLP solutions.
  • Experience working with financial institutions and understanding regulatory requirements like PCI DSS, SOX, and NYDFS.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Prisma Access, and Netskope solutions.
  • Proficiency in firewall configuration, secure web gateways, SASE architecture, and scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Microsoft SC-200, or Netskope NCCSA (preferred).
