What you'll do
- Build and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, Microservices, and Databases.
- Design and document comprehensive test strategies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
- Perform functional and regression testing while reporting and tracking defects to closure.
- Lead the maintenance of test environments and the creation of consistent test data.
- Triage customer issues and provide root cause analysis and system hardening recommendations.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to a small group of SDETs and Associates.
- Participate in technical specification reviews and Agile ceremonies to define requirements and architecture.
What we're looking for
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, physics, math, statistics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns in languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JS.
- Expert in full-stack testing tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Espresso, and RestAssured.
- Experience building automation frameworks using JUnit, NUnit, TestNg, Pytest, or Cucumber with Page-Object or BDD models.
- Experience with Git workflows, build automation (Gradle, Maven, Nuget), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI), and cloud devices.
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including the ability to write complex SQL queries and joins.
- Master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field (preferred); experience in FinTech SaaS or AWS (preferred).
