As a Staff RF Control Software Engineer within the Modem Technologies Software group, you will lead the product development lifecycle from inception and design through bring-up, optimization, verification, and commercialization. You will construct software abstraction layers to support various radio hardware configurations on common protocol stacks while designing and implementing test mode interfaces for hardware characterization and tuning. Your daily work involves optimizing device control transactions for inter-RAT, multi SIM, and concurrent radio operations. You will apply expertise in antenna concepts, signal characterization, and the control of standard RF components like amplifiers, oscillators, frequency synthesizers, mixers, switches, sensors, and digital interfaces. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including ASIC design and firmware, you will provide technical leadership during design reviews to solve complex problems within modern multi chip wireless transceiver platforms and advanced radio frequency systems.
