Staff R&D Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop firmware for STM32-based daughter boards to control temperature during diagnostic studies.
• Write firmware on Cortex-A53 boards to support the primary daughter board systems.
• Act as a subject matter expert to diagnose complex edge-case accuracy problems for cross-functional teams.
• Implement real-time logic across all domains, including baremetal and interrupt service routine (ISR) logic.
• Innovate on new hardware systems to improve and extend molecular diagnostic capabilities.
• Maintain and develop embedded C/C++ code within a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environment.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, a Master's with 6+ years, or a Doctorate with 3+ years of related work experience is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Embedded C/C++.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with RTOS and Baremetal programming.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with ISRs and real-time programming.
• Experience in the molecular diagnostics field or biotech industry (preferred).
• Professional or academic experience in developing and maintaining industrial process control logic (preferred).
• Professional experience with logic analyzers (preferred).
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
