What you'll do

Build and maintain sustainable, AI-powered developer tooling for the Slack iOS app.
Pioneer an agentic software development lifecycle using intelligent tools and autonomous workflows.
Integrate AI coding agents into the development pipeline to automate PR generation and code reviews.
Manage and optimize Bazel build systems and CI/CD pipelines to improve build time metrics.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as CI stability and TimeToMerge.
Lead technical design and ensure high code quality across the entire iOS codebase.
Mentor and grow other iOS engineers in an AI-assisted development landscape.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience building and maintaining complex iOS tooling from CI to CD.
Deep expertise with Swift, Bazel, Python, and Xcode tools.
Hands-on experience with Agentic SDLC workflows and integrating AI coding agents.
Ability to monitor and improve KPIs such as CI stability, TimeToMerge, and build time metrics.
Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and scripting.
Experience using Slack and a keen interest in making it better (preferred).
Prior experience in an iOS developer experience role (preferred).
A related technical degree (preferred).
