Staff Software Engineer iOS

What you'll do

• Coordinate the activities of other engineers as a project or system leader.
• Determine technical tasks for other engineers to ensure the achievement of service objectives.
• Proactively improve existing engineering structures and processes.
• Reconcile competing priorities regarding time, quality, and complexity to identify optimal solutions.
• Condense repetitive patterns into generalized, meaningful technical solutions.
• Collaborate with management to set and improve standards for engineering rigor.
• Represent the company to external partners, customers, and industry organizations.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Mobile Development (preferred).
• Experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing mobile applications at scale (preferred).
• Strong Swift skills and knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code (preferred).
• Deep understanding and knowledge of consuming GraphQL and REST APIs from Mobile applications (preferred).
• Passionate about mentoring and developing software engineers (preferred).
• Ability to understand and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences (preferred).
• Strong understanding of testing best practices and familiarity with at least one testing framework for Mobile Development (preferred).
