The Staff Design Verification Test Engineer joins the Electronic Warfare team to support the transition of next-generation platforms from development to production. You will own the end-to-end design verification test process, authoring test strategies and verification plans while establishing requirements for testability early in the design cycle. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining Verification Cross-Reference Matrices, analyzing data to establish production test limits, and leading EVT, DVT, and NPI builds on production-intent stations. You will triage failures to root cause and mentor engineers on measurement rigor. Required skills include hands-on RF and microwave measurement experience using spectrum and signal analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, and power meters. This role solves the technical challenge of ensuring product reliability and seamless new product introduction for complex electronic warfare systems.
Own the end-to-end DVT process by authoring test strategies and verification plans for new electronic warfare products.
Establish requirements for testability early in the design cycle to ensure seamless production transitions.
Build and maintain Verification Cross-Reference Matrices (VCRM) including measurement methods and pass/fail criteria.
Analyze DVT data to establish production test limits based on station measurement capabilities.
Lead EVT, DVT, and NPI builds on production-intent stations to triage failures and close test escapes.
Set design verification standards across programs and mentor test engineers on measurement rigor.
Drive development and test automation counterparts to execute verification activities and improve manufacturability.
What we're looking for
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
12+ years of relevant industry experience in test, verification, or product engineering.
Experience owning design verification for a hardware product taken to production.
Demonstrated ownership of test strategy and test plan documentation via a VCRM or equivalent coverage artifact.
Hands-on RF and microwave measurement experience with spectrum and signal analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, and power meters.
Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and leading EVT/DVT/NPI builds on production-intent hardware.
Environmental and reliability verification experience, including HALT/HASS, ORT, ESS profile development, thermal and vibration qualification, and EMI/EMC (preferred).
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (preferred).
