Senior Staff Data Scientist

What you'll do

• Develop AI, ML, and advanced analytics solutions that provide measurable value to internal customers.
• Translate complex customer requirements into timely, functional technical solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior team members in AI, machine learning, and programming tasks.
• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI/ML projects in collaboration with functional leaders.
• Support FLIGHT DECK initiatives including Kaizens, Value Stream Mapping, and Gemba walks.
• Develop, test, and release maintainable code while following established coding standards.
• Execute model validation, reproducibility, and deployment criteria for production environments.
• Collaborate with domain experts to derive insights from large, dynamic, and conflicting datasets.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Associate's with 8 years, or High School Diploma with 10 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Science.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) to access export-controlled information.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Strong Python scripting capability (preferred).
• Confident user of Version Control, ideally GitHub (preferred).
• Experience with analytics development platforms, deployed architectures, and advanced modeling techniques (preferred).
• Ability to guide/mentor others in AI, ML, and programming tasks (preferred).
