You must be proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python, as well as programming languages such as Go or Java. This position solves critical developer experience challenges by building robust internal tooling across major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

What you'll do

Design and implement platforms, tools, and frameworks that define the software development lifecycle.
Develop complex features for CI/CD systems, developer portals, and testing infrastructure.
Translate high-level architectural visions into robust, scalable code and actionable tasks for the team.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of critical platform services.
Implement AI-powered tools like code generation and automated testing to accelerate development.
Mentor senior and junior engineers on platform development, CI/CD, and automation techniques.
Resolve complex technical debt and performance bottlenecks within the developer toolchain.
Establish and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and operational readiness.

What we're looking for

Expert experience with CI/CD principles and tooling such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
Strong experience building tools and services for developers.
Experience contributing to an Internal Developer Portal like Backstage (preferred).
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
Strong experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Practical experience with DevSecOps principles and integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python) and one programming language (e.g., Go, Java).
Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
