Staff AI Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate full-stack software solutions owning features end-to-end.
• Build and implement Custom AI Agents for task automation, decision support, and multi-step reasoning.
• Integrate systems using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable structured context sharing between models and tools.
• Integrate applications with internal and external AI services including LLMs, embeddings, and RAG systems.
• Harden AI components for 24x7 critical manufacturing systems focusing on reliability, security, and latency.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development workflows like code generation, refactoring, and test creation.
• Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to translate business needs into scalable software architectures.

What we're looking for

• Strong foundation in full stack software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, clean code, and testing strategies.
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems with API design and data persistence.
• Experience working in cloud-native environments, including CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and modern operational practices.
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing Custom AI agents, including prompt engineering, vibe coding, and chain-of-thought design.
• Experience integrating systems using MCP or equivalent structured agent/tool interfaces and integrating RAG-based systems.
• Ability to design scalable system architectures with tradeoffs across performance, reliability, security, and developer productivity.
• Experience applying AI-enabled development practices to accelerate engineering workflows (preferred).
