Senior Staff IT AI Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the architectural vision and deployment of scalable software assets using Python and React.
• Architect and govern advanced agentic systems using Vertex AI Agent SDK or similar frameworks.
• Establish enterprise-wide AI Evaluation (Evals) frameworks to monitor and optimize LLM performance.
• Define organizational strategy for data retrieval pipelines, including vector embeddings and semantic search.
• Establish prompt engineering standards and security frameworks to protect against vulnerabilities like prompt injection.
• Standardize and scale Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to bridge enterprise data with LLM applications.
• Mentor technical leaders and engineers across the organization in full-stack and AI domains.
• Take accountability for cross-team project outcomes to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security and performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum of 9 years of related experience.
• At least 9 years of professional backend development experience with Python using Django or FastAPI.
• Proven track record of architecting and scaling production-grade Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or native cloud Agent SDKs.
• Deep technical expertise in RAG architectures, including vector embeddings and semantic search.
• Demonstrated experience implementing LLM guardrails, prompt injection defenses, and AI evaluation workflows.
• Expertise in frontend development with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, along with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
